Pipes & Drums of the 78th Highlanders

The Pipes and Drums of the 78th Highlanders are an important element of the historical re-enactment program developed at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site for the information and entertainment of site visitors. The historic Pipers and Drummers of the 78th provided the music to regulate an ordinary soldier's day, to accompany the regiment while on parade or on the route of march, and to entertain both members of the regiment and the general public alike. This recording attempts to reproduce the music that was played by those original musicians. CD contains 16 musical tracks with an informative booklet insert.
